FAQ
Not yet. SandeCPR is completing its alignment with an American Heart Association Training Center. Join a waitlist and we'll email you when dates open. It's free and doesn't hold a seat or take payment.
Not from this site, and not yet. After alignment, students who complete a course are expected to receive a course completion eCard, valid for 2 years, issued through the Training Center. We are not issuing cards today, and joining the waitlist is not a course.
HeartCode® is a blended format: an adaptive online part at your own pace, then a shorter hands-on skills session. Students bring the online certificate of completion.
In the courses we're preparing: BLS Provider, ACLS Provider, and PALS Provider include hands-on skills tests plus a written exam, planned at 84% to pass. ACLS also includes a Megacode, and PALS includes 2 case scenarios. For Heartsaver, everyone does the skills tests. The written exam is optional and given only if an employer requires it.
Yes. Complete the online Precourse Self-Assessment and score at least 70%, then bring the report. You should also be solid in high-quality CPR, since that skill is tested in class.
The courses we're preparing test BLS skills in class. Many employers also want a current BLS card. Whether we can schedule BLS alongside ACLS is not set. Check with your employer before you rely on a specific card.
Most workplaces would choose Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED. Childcare providers often need Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED. Whether we offer the pediatric course is not decided. Check your employer's or licensing agency's requirement. Designed to help meet OSHA and other workplace requirements. Check with your employer or regulator.
Yes, that is the plan. Manikins would show compression depth, rate, and recoil in real time. Feedback devices are required for adult CPR training in the courses we're preparing.
Sande is our AI practice helper. It helps you review and practice between instructor segments, and it stays silent during all testing. Your instructor runs every test and decides course completion. Sande is not an instructor and does not issue cards.
